On shameless self-promotion

This is a rant. Over the past few days I have been getting a couple of pseudo-spamish comments. They’re not like the good old fashioned spam, that Akismet is so good at catching. It’s not text-ads for Viagra or penis-enlargement, the only way I can describe it is shameless self-promotion. It’s something along the lines of “Nice blog!”, and then a link to the poster own “blog”. If you have something to say about my blog, or a topic, or whatever, please don’t hestitate to do so. I love it. It keeps me warm during those long cold nights, but if your only objective is to promote your ridiculous, advertisement-infested, money-making, link-blog piece of crap website, please bugger off!

Ah, feel much better now. So, to recap, anything that smells just barely of shameless self-promotion will be instantly deleted! Yes, this is my blog, so I’m the judge. Too bad.

And to everyone else who doesn’t partake in comment-advertising or other kinds of evil, thank you for being here, and please, do continue reading. I’m not usually in such a bad mood.

Attempt at branding paper as something cool

Don’t you just love how people come up with powerful product-names? This one though, is too silly. Future lasertech..? I think not. It’s paper, and it was invented somewhere around 5000 years ago. Not really futuristic.
